Assuming some people somewhere didn't cut off the gas supply. We'll be generating upto 7000mw by now. FG should just find a way to appease the devil so that they can stop blowing up the pipelines.

Electricity in my area is better now, but I know it's because of the rain. And if the gas issue is not resolved by October, then there are more dark days ahead.

The last time people from the southern senatorial district of ondo state uses light was January 2015, the northern district has been disconnected from power for over four months now, only the people in central are using electricity.
churches, barbing saloon etc are always full to the brim because they do put on their generators and many uses the opportunity to charge their phones and others. I only hope this new improvement in the power will get to the people of ondo state most especially those in akungba akoko where i reside.

Power generation is usually high during raining season.It's nothing new.Not an achievement.In fact electricity was more stable this time of the year in the past couple of years during raining season.

Though, the country’s installed
capacity stands at 11,165.40mw, the
network operational capability
remained 5,500mw while peak
generation ever attained remained
5,500mw as at February 2016.

What they mean here is that, if all things are well with the available power stations in the country, they can together generate 11,165.40MW.
The capacity of operational network which is called National Grid (wires that take power from power stations to all over the country) can carry only 5'500MW.

This is the true analysis of this report.

We have being having 15 to 18 hrs of constant electricity every day in my area of Iju Fagba in Lagos. So I must say power supply have really improved recently, I don't know about your area o can only talk of my area and I have been impressed.
