I just hope J. Mascherano can still give us at least a year of good service. At his age and high level of commitment to the club, the injuries are sure to be constant and coming fast. I'm however confident we have capable replacements.

I would bet my left balls Marlon would be called were he not to have pending issues with his Visa, hence he wouldn't be called. Maybe someone else then... Martinez?

Saw an article on Sport saying Martinez can't be brought in,because if he eventually plays,he won't be able to feature for the B team,so he is ruled out too.

Vermaelen was signed while on the treatment table despite his track records of injury, Douglas never played any meaningful match for us(even though he can boast of trophies many outstanding players can only dream of).
Can we really compare those signings to the ones we have now? We have all seen how Digne and Umtiti have slotted in seamlessly into the team as if they are La Masia graduates. We need to give it to the man in charge bro, it has nothing to do with winning trophies.
