Wow...good to see the work is going on smoothly. May it be an easy venture through. What will be in the pent floor? I am also continuing work soon on my 3 bedroom bungalow with pent floor in Abuja. Did the foundation to DPC already. Starting block work to upper floor next week and will really like to know the cost to deck the pent floor as per my plans attached. Told I will need about 5,400 9" blocks for the building. Will that be enough? Suggestions please...

I'm building a similar 3 bedroom bungalow + Penthouse ( 2 large rooms). I've done the DPC and I was quoted 5,300 blocks to take it to lintel/ declking level.

I will like to state the Materials used to achieve every stage, starting with this stage and the workers pay. However, my service and hired Woking tools will not be inclusive here.

1)Blocks : 1300 pcs of 9" holed
2)Cement: 163 bags of cement
3) 16mm rod: 27lenghts
4) 12mm rod : 25 lgt
5) 8mm : 15 lgt
6) 1 roll of binding wire. (still remaining)
7) 1/2" Hardcore stone: 2 trips
8 ) Gravel : 5 trips
9) Sharp sand : 22 trips
10) Planks : 29 pcs
11) Poline : 30 pcs
12) 1/2 bag of nail and 4P/weight(still remaining)
13) Thick Nylon: 2roll of 7kg & a roll of 10kg
14) 4" blue pipe 4lgt, 2"- 4lgt, 3" 4lgt.

Workers pay: #325,473.00 only. (excluding Engineer's & plumber's )

#6,250, 000 to #8,850,000 can get it done... Your drawing and taste in finishing will affect the cost. Thanks

Okay...so it wasn't used at foundation stage. Just bought to be used later? Right? From your experience...should one buy all his iron at once? Even though I will be spacing the foundation and decking over a 12months waiting period?
