cool more

cool THIS IS BEAUTIFUL. Oh OP the gods bless you plenty. My Delta people u na siddon there dey look when our rich cultures are been replaced/denigrated by Christian (European/MiddleEaster) and Muslim (Arab) rituals. Nigerians of all tribes need a cultural revolution. It is sad that the ONLY people that are even making an attempt are the Yorubas. We have more churches per square feet than any other country in the world - yet the Buddha worshiping Asian countries are sending experiments to space while we are still trying to build ordinary drainage. Na wa oh - the black man is indeed a fool cool

it won't work because this is idolatry. no Christian or Moslem will put his money into this and the population of idol worshipers have terribly dwindled. this is not marketable.

You think Oyinbo cares about that? The shrines and temples in Sri Lanka, Bangladesh etc they cough out money to fly to visit are not of Christianity nor Islam.....you see idolatry, they see art and History!

YORUBA, rich in culture and tradition.

This is the picture of the late Austrian born Osun-Osogbo Priestess, Suzanne Wenger, Adunni Olorisha. She died few years ago after serving the Osun goddess for almost 40years

So? What do I need the rubbish picture for? Because she's a white skin? Smh!

Showing me the picture of a woman who worshipped a demon for 40 years will not validate the whole fetish religion one bit. For all you know, that woman is in hell fire right now receiving her retribution.

Brainwashed mentality. The whites that came to give your people bible and steal your lands really did an impressive job o cheesy

But you will take Arab and Jewish culture and put money in it
yes I would do so. remember we are talking about marketing. theirs would yield return on investment while this African idolatrous cultures that have kept Africa in the dark would make one poorer than he was. I believe African idols and their cultural practices are useless. it has not uplifted Africa but has made it land of suffering.

Idol worshipper, I do not have the time to trade words with you. Continue worshipping idols. Only time will tell. We'll all give account on the last day.

But this people can be black and ugly for Africa o. I've been scanning all the pictures, 99 percent of them are very black and ugly.

Not their fault anyway.

Btw, that river looks really dirty. One can contract all sorts of disease there.

cool OP this is impressive. If (when) you have time you should open a thread to educate the forum how the people of Osun have been able to preserve their rich culture in the face of constant assaults by Christians (and sometimes Muslims). This will be helpful to other Nigerians who are fighting daily to restore their cultural identity and humanity. Because, I tell you it is very difficult in other parts of Nigeria. In Delta and the South East we even have Christians burning down people's shrines and the stiff opposition to anyone who dares to be different is massive. cool

I can't believe that this thread is so dry like this. Osun Osogbo is a world heritage site and the government did not see any positive things to promote this festival to international standard.

read my point on
