Seriously I do not want to get involved in the GEJ/PMB debate but there's no denying the fact that GEJ was more motivating for our sportsmen/woman than PMB. Even Mariam Usman herself confirmed this, for according to her 2012 was better, she had better training in 2012 and her result was better.
GEJ motivated them well and they won nothing or you want to remind us again what the entire Nigerian contingent won at the 2012 Olympics? The last medal this country won in the Olympics was in 2008. Agreed preparations were terrible now, but it is not like she would have won anything anyway.

And she won no medals in 2012.

GEJ sure motivated them well, eh?
She won no medal yes but had a better result than she did in 2016. One would have expected that the govt would encourage them to build on the positives of 2012.

The lady has compared the two era and gave the damning verdict that 2012 was better, deal with it.

Excluding GEJ. Nigeria achieved a lot in sports under his motivating and sensitive administration.

You sound ridiculous my friend. What is good about a result that does not translate into winning a medal? I told you the entire team Nigeria won no medal in 2012 while they won 2 silvers in 2008. Why did GEJ government not encourage them to build on the positives of 2008 in 2012? That lady is a typical Nigerian athlete who would blame anything other than themselves for their own failure. Yea even with so called adequate preparations she would have won nothing.

I guess the word 'sensitive' just got a new meaning.

The sad thing about all these is after all has been said & done, it would still be a normal recurrence. Did someone lay on a curse on Nigeria? Can't we ever get it right or make efforts to try? How a nation like Nigeria doesn't learn from the past & plan for the present & future really baffles me..

When she and her team won eight gold, three silver and three bronze in the Commonwealth games in 2013, I remember her dedicating that victory to GEJ. They obviously got more support under the last dispensation.

who athletes help to win elections. It is. WHat it is.they should join the campaign trail or go on strike instead of always managing humiliation while sports ministry officials hammer. If music and nollywood entertainers can
Succeed without gwament what is their excuse
