Dont drag in Allah here...the president is failing. Dont let ur tribal support for him blind you of that fact.
Just because you hate him will not stop us from praying 4 him. You said he is failing. So that means we should not pray 4 him to be in right tracthuh We should fold our arms watch him fails? We must offer him assistance with prayers. If he fails, me and you fails. Nigeria fails.

Don't let your hatred 4 him make you blind.

What made this performance a feat to celebrate is the fact that the improvement was mostly from non-oil revenue by FIRS.

And you didn't notice any increment?
Re: The Economy Is Looking Up : Well Done PMB by ivandragon: 8:24am On Aug 20, 2016
that's what happens when you devalue your currency. you have more local currency to spend albeit with less purchasing power & value.

the govt simply used the new exchange rate to calculate its revenue.

for example the govt earned approx. $1.8b in may (which was shared in June). rather than using the exchange rate as at may which was N197 to $1 which would have been approx. N350b, it used about N280 which translated to over N500b.

Kudos to Buhari and his economic team for their current success in raising our revenue generation profile. We hope this tempo is sustained and very soon we'd be out of the woods.

The wailers are allergic to any progress made by this administration so expect them to kick back with illogical and immaterial objections that only end up revealing their degree of frustration. Those screaming about interest rate hikes have not figured that it is in response to the rising inflation rate that reached an alarming 16.5% in June, as it would encourage saving and discourage borrowing.

The bottom line here is that states would now have access to more revenue allocation to meet their recurrent financial commitments (particularly salaries) which would trickle down to stimulate the local economy, just as the states individually strive to boost their IGR. What is purchasing power parity analysis when the common man does not have any purchasing power to start with due to unpaid salaries?

Kudos Tunde Fowler and President Muhammadu Buhari.

How will a typical Afonja like you know

It was increased recently by CBN from 12% to 14% which caused Elrufai to complain while comparing us to Britain

Afonja, I don't talk without facts.
