Hello people, please I need advice on this. I'm thinking of starting work on this building (picture attached), it's actually been like this for over 10 years and the decking leaks whenever it rains.

The plan is to make it a one-storey building, but the leaking decking got me wondering if the structure can stand.

Do I reinforce the decking and continue with the first floor? What's the best way around such case please?

Provided the existing foundation was designed to carry a storey building, jst go ahead and continue the building. When u roof d first floor d leaking stops, buh ensure u do proper floor screeding of say 50mm thickness wit rich cement mix b4 tilling. It will eventually stop all leakages. Need an expert service?
