The Edo state All Progressives Congress (APC) governorship flag-bearer, Godwin Obaseki has promised to create 200,000 jobs. Obaseki also said he will empower women in the state if he is elected as the Governor. He also told newsmen that he will make Edo state the agricultural hub of the nation. Adding that the focus of his administration will be to create jobs and promote industrialisation and entrepreneurship. Obaseki said this while launching his governorship campaign at the Samuel Ogbemudia Stadium on Saturday, July 16, 2016 in Benin. The governorship aspirant also promised to ensure constant electricity supply in the Edo state. Obaseki promised to uphold the legacies of the current Governor, Adams Oshiomhole. The Edo state Governorship elections is slated to hold on September 10, 2016. |

Ediot. Better close your mouth. Any politician that doesn't give you his full economic plan with numbers with respect to reality on ground is a fraud. Any politician that gives useless promises like 200k jobs, 1M km road, electricity is a fraud. Is it his money that he's employing and executing the projects with? Obaseki should go and sit in one place even the Almighty federal govt has not achieved there one millions jobs ever year. talk about APC from Edo state, which isn't oil producing state.... Obaseki fear God and stop all this lies to Edo peoples. ask your oga both of us are from the local govt area and the painful thing is that my village is next to his village we voted for him. both come to village and see for yourself no good roads, No schools, No health center. 1 Like |
