Fans have been left disappointed about the Rio Olympics when at the end of Day 8 of Athletics, it dawned on everybody that for the second successive Games, Nigeria does not have a medal to show for participating in Track and field events.

Athletes more often than not go downhill from their peak at a first Olympics. the Jamaican, Bolt has steadily gone downhill from his peak at the first Olympics he attended when he broke the world record. Likewise the female, Frasier lost the gold to a newer athlete.

Now, the athletes Nigeria took to this Olympics in Brazil are almost exactly the same Athletes they took to last Olympics in which according to the topic, they won no medal. If they won nothing last Olympics, when they were younger an better, why will they win something in this Olympics five years later, older and at the very least marginally slower ?
