wanted to get the 2000 naira bonus,so I was wondering if anyone has ever done it without receiving the message from mtn first

Don't try it. I just fell a victim tho I called their customer care before hand and the guy said I should proceed. I wish I could sueven them cos one of their agent gave me wrong info.

I think Mtn are doubling the plan u subscribe. I subscribed N2,000 3.5gb today and I got a bonus of 3.5gb making a total of 7gb for N2,000.

which tariff plan are you in?

I didn't get the text and sub BUT didn't get the wow data! My data run out this morning!

It doesn't matter whether you see the message or not, but make sure they send out message before you sub.

Looks like it is one phone per bonus. So if u have received this bonus on ur phone in the past u would most likely not receive it. Yesterday I used wife's phone and got a additional 3.5gb. Today I put my mtn sim in another phone and immediately mtn sent me a message that my phone is qualified.

What u should do is if u have another phone, put ur mtn sim card there, don't subscribe, if ur phone is qualified mtn will send u a message within 5 mins. Right now I'm just going to subscribe for the 5k 10gb and get a cool 20gb.
