Use an auxilliary cable. Put one end into your phone, and the other into the aux port in your car. That way you can play music from your phone through your car stereo and also make handsfree calls.

The process specialguest gave is quite easy. Yeah by connecting it to charging port.

Some car models don't recognise the phone as a USB device so this may not work all the time. Your sure options will be with an auxiliary cable or a Bluetooth FM transmitter. The second option is great cos some of these adaptors can show caller ID and allows you to take your calls hands free as well as play your music files. However the downside is music quality. You may get some static from interference especially if you don't fine tune the stereo. If you've got cash to blow, you can upgrade your stereo to one with apple carplay or Android auto depending on if you use iOS or Android.
