I am finding it difficult to design my blog www.okmedics.com on blogger platform. How I can I add things like categories, tags, social media like Twitter and Facebook page.
I was able to do that easily when I was using wordpress.

Get third party theme or template. But you have to be good doing under the hood editing to customize your blog and remove watermarks created by the theme designer. check this page for cool themes http://www.blogtipsntricks.com/?m=1

Alt text is good for image soe, let's say the title of ur topic is how to edit html on blogger.
Your image alt text will be how-to-edit-html-on-blogger.

I'm not an seo expert,but I believe when someone search for the words on Google and decide to check the image section, your image will show there, as we all know, image speak more than text, a click on the image will direct the person to your blog.

The permalink
Google will not show up all your blog title, especially if it is more than 65 characters.

Let's say your blog title is

Infinix hot note pro spec, price and features in Nigeria
Google will automatically create a permalink for it,this is the link that will appear on Google when people search for that words.

Unfortunately, google will shorten the URL, not writing it in full as the one written above.
When posting, click on permalink and select custom permalink.

This will allow you to write it in full by yourself.
Note that, you must use the dash sign when writing the custom permalink.
E.g
how-to-edit-html

Search description.

If my post title is :
Tecno Y6 spec, price in Nigeria

My search description will be
Tecno Y6
New Tecno Y6
Tecno Y6 on jumia
Tecno Y6 on konga
Tecno Y6 in Kenya

I only write short articles for my blog on mobile phone, if you are writing long article it is better to use PC or bigger tablets, this will afford you the opportunity to optimize your blog post very well.

Yeah that's good but what if the blogger doesn't have a tablet or PC?

To me I believe it's all about time, it might take you 2hrs to write and optimize a blog post of 1500words on PC while it mobile user can take up to 4hours due to the small screen.

Editing, adding image, internal and external link etc.

There's no difference, with time one will get use to it..

When I was still designing my blog, armed robbers attacked me an took my PC and my phone.
All I did on my blog ever since then was with an old infinix hot my girlfriend dashed me, with a battery that only lasts a few minutes when data is on.

I only have Google docs and chrome as my only blogging app, with no source of power supply I have to pay N50 everyday to charge my weak battery.

But yet, I didn't allow all that to weigh me down. To be truthful, blogging with a phone can be tiresome and frustrating at times, and drastically slows down your speed in the traffic race.

Final words: if I could do it with all the setback I don't see any reason why you shouldn't.

Yeah, you can type in your keywords there and other words related to it or words you think people will like search for on Google relating to your blog post.

is the keyword visible

It's easy, just add the keyword In your blog post and post title.
Add it at the beginning ,middle and bottom, also use related keywords too.
Use the search description box ,insert your keywords there.

To use the features, login to blogger dashboard
Click on settings, emails

Posting using email? You will see your email with a box to insert your secret username.
E.g obamaAmerica. (secret username) @ blogger.com

It can be ObamaAmerica.goodluck@blogger.com
You can select publish emails immidaitely or save to draft

After setting it up, click on save settings.

This will allow u post to your blog via your email address

You were talking about using Evernote to post on your blog, I haven't tried it but I believe it's possible.

If you can register on ever note with your blogger email,like the one above then you're good to go.

Please can anyone help out on how to design my own blog myself.

I was writing using Google Chrome and all of a sudden internet connection seized and restored. I couldn't find what I have written despite I saved it by clicking down save icon.

it's advice able you write using a note, I prefer using Evernote, it automatically save your work even if your phone switched off..

the cool thing is that, my note of 2years ago is still save even though have change my phone several times.

so, use evernote
