There were lots of races actually in their millions already on the planet.

As s bible student, I feel the account of Moses on the book of Genesis was not comprehensive. Even from chapter one verse one, the stories werent or aren't adding up. I feel God through this man of God wants us to focus on what he wants us to know and ignore informations that weren't provided. Apostle Paul in his writings to the Hebrews called it the elementary teachings.
Classically, there seem to be a gap of age in the relay of the story line. Figuring it out with human mind is dangerous.

I think what God showed us in the bible are the ones he wants us to know for now. A comprehensive details of creation story can't be contained in just one book. It will come in several hundreds of volumes.
Even u as an individual, the story of your life cant be contained in just one book talk more of story of humanity.

The answer is in the 6th and 7th book of moses..
