I heard from a reliable source that Vanguard (which used to balanace) are under serious pressure by the FG to become Anti-Biafran. The situation came to a head during the period when buhari's soldiers were arresting innocent vendors in PH and Aba for selling Pro-Biafran papers.

The only disappointment I have always had from day one is Orji Kalu's THE SUN NEWS. Any anti-Biafran propaganda lands on the Headline of his paper the next day and I begin to wonder.

People like to say that Vanguard was an IPOB newspaper when in reality it was a PDP influenced newspaper. What we're seeing now is the result of Buhari's war against the media; he's taking out anyone he perceives to be in opposition against him and his government. He did it in 1983-85 and he's doing it again in 2016 and all people here can do is to engage themselves in petty squabbles about a group that shouldn't even concern half of them. Nigeria is heading for totalitarianism and its people are too blind and too dense to even see it.
