I still remember back then, when i talked about the ills of oil pipeline Bombings in the Niger Delta and how the environment would be polluted and degraded as a result, some Niger Deltan Militants here on NL attacked my opinion, one even call me Mr environmentalist for saying the truth. It's obvious now, they can clearly see what their mothers are about to do.
Why did they kept mute when their bomb loving son's were enjoying the views displayed from the mushroom flames of the bomb blast in the communities? They should rather go unclad in protest before their sons if they are really serious to see the end of the very predicament their sons cause the environment, Niger Deltans and Nigerians as a whole.
Tell your selves the truth, the oil companies are counting their loses nor did they or the government were responsible for any oil spillage from the bombs. Rather, the government has launch a clean up programme which the Evil Avengers who do not wish well for the Niger Deltans would not allow to kickoff as planned.

Not just back in the days. As recently as 2months ago a friend of mine told me about some of the Niger Delta youths (not all, of course), who were employed in a major oil company as a result of some sort of quota system. He said these youths have such a high sense of "entitlement" that they rarely worked, some don't even show up for duty but collect wages and salaries, and the supervisors are kind of fed up with them but dare not sack them for fear of incurring the wrath of the others.
