Every religion has a perception of a single all-powerful creator but most of them believe that the forces which He created should also be worshipped and this has given the rise to polytheism. But the three major world religions feel that only the creator should be worshipped. Infact Hinduism could be seen as a mono-polytheistic religion cause it believes in only one true God but still rever powers attributed to Him or things ordained by Him. For example, sex or fertility is revered as a god, and thus, Sheeva is worshipped as god of the phallus and the lingam. Even death and destruction are worshipped in the form of Durga (Kali). So, all religions do not necessarily disagree when it comes to the concept of a powerful Creator but they disagree as to what or who He is and how He should be represented.
