We must sit down and find a way round how Niger Delta people (other regions too) will have opportunity to utilise what is in their region to develop themselves and secure their future.

It's simple. All they have to do is to use what is between their ears to elect people who are not thieves.

Between NDDC, Niger Delta Ministry, 13% derivation and IGR from taxes on oil companies, the Niger Delta states should have been the best developed states in nigeria outside Lagos and Abuja.
