which other histories apart from the ones from either Itsekiris; urhobos or ijaws do one need again?

u see i as a neutral tribe or person will prefer to stick with the history of 2 different tribes that concurred/ or sounds alike than to stick to just one history from one tribe that sound different from that of the 2 independent tribes.

Then u really have more researching to do......even the urhobos and the ijaw histories never claimed they were in warri before d itsekiris.

The ijaws claim they own warri city(they are d first settlers) yet they dont have a single village in warri city.urhobos claim to to b the first settlers aswell,but that negates their side of the warri history.

Its so funny that the portugese meet and traded with the itsekiris whom the duo(ijaw/urhobo)claim to b tenants, how laughable it is that u hardly find any urhobo or ijaw who is actually from warri,yet they claim owners.

Its a known fact that Any urhobo or ijaw dat claims to be from warri is either a slave or suffering from acute ignorance.

Nobody can drive any group from where they have been for centuries. Even the UN will resist that. Ijaw and Urhobo are co owners of Warri with Itsekiri but the sovereignty over that land is Iwere. No debate over that in the past. Debate started with Nigeria. Can the Ijaw in the creeks of Iwere land claim maritime rights to the exclusion of the Itsekiri and Urhobo? No. That wont be possible as it was not possible before Nigeria. The whole land is Iwere with Ijaw and Urhobo natives having their own traditional authourities. Just like Modakeke is Ife land.

Where are you from? Modakeke Ife is on Ife land, in Iraye. When the chief of Modakeke is chosen, the Ogunsua, the person is confirmed by the Ooni of Ife. He is a chief over a quarters of Ife just like Obalufe, Obajio and etc.

I think someone like Ooni Abewela had a Modakeke mother and was buried by the Modakeke. There are Aderemis, Sijuwades and etc with Modakeke mothers. Only that Modakeke are Oyo displaced from Northern Nigeria while Ife are Southeastern Yoruba.
