Judging by press statement released by this subject about his father, can in all religions, traditions and ethics standards this boy be called a BASTARD?
* How old was he as at the time of the separation?
* Was he trained to respect elders?
* Do the mother allowed the father access to them?
* Is he just too irrational to filter?
* Does he know the real meaning of root?
* Does he really belong to the acclaimed father?
DNA test should be truly recommended, how did separation of 30yrs produced 28yrs son

You have no right to use such word on someone let alone a deceased.. you created a thread like this and i wonder the extent of your morality as a LIVING human being.

A person that was conceived by a man and woman (except lack of the PHYSICAL presence of the man as hos child was growing up due to circumstances of life) is who you refer to as a bastard. What will you now call "JESUS" since he has no literal worldly biological father?
You people just create achaic and babaric threads here just because of internet freedom and access.

Be careful what you wish for because this world is not a bed of roses. Thank you.

Respect is reciprocal. If an adult behaves as a kid then he should be treated as one. You don't know the full story so kindly keep quiet.

Have you finished sorting out the problems in your own life before trying to analyze the issues in another person's who doesn't even know you exist?

Too much of nollywood and nairaland are affecting you.
Those movies which always show the classic happy ending where a useless absentee father turns up after abandoning his family for ages and they always welcome him with wide open arms and live happily ever after eh?
Hope it's now clear to you that reality is different.Children are watching and will not forget, even if they say they forgive the erring parent will pay for it in one way or the other.

The young man knows his father so he is not a bastard. It's not fair to such words. Just like chocolateme said, be careful of what you say. I just hope this doesn't get to frontpage. Better off, the mods should kill this thread.

Well, for the young man to be buried in his mothers home town suggest that he is a bastard with regards to Igbo traditions, and to think that a custodian of the land, could condone such abomination speaks volume.

To me, he seems to be one.
