Don't get it twisted o...what was being reported was the clearing house rate (320). That is the rate GTB (and all other banks) reports to central bank they charge for transactions on their card, and invariably it's the rate at which they 'settle' Master Card, which keeps them 'legally' within the allowed not more than 2% profit margin mandated and stipulated by CBN for banks to make on FX transactions from the interbank exchange rate.

So CBN people no dey receive mails on charges or dem no dey see their twitter handle reporting high rates. CBN knows the truth they are only turning a blind eye. Waiting till when they will beam their search light on the banking sector then we'll see real corruption
