these are just normal things in Today's world.even Togo enjoys most of this facilities and skrill sends direct to many mobile in west Africa ,only naija always be the problem. Nigeria still has a very long way to go

Nigerian banks will make sure that Telcos are not given the opportunity to roll out such service. Initially banks in Kenya resisted but seeing the speed with which mobile money was going they had to latch in on it by encouraging Kenyans to deposit and withdraw using their mobile money account. They realize many don't go to bank to cash their Moneygram, WU etc, so they encourage us whenever we receive the international transfers, we should from our phones sends to our bank accounts!

Some banks had to collabo with an App called Sendwave, that caters for anyone in the US and Canada in sending money to Ethiopia and East Africa. They and World remit have the best rates in Kenya and subsequently the traffic of Western Union and Moneygram into Kenya has sharply decreased. World remit only charge $0.01 to send a maximum transfer of $605 from the U.S (with exception of a few states there) to a Kenyan number.

it is the way of the future, the future and present is going mobile ,Nigeria banks have no choice but we must understand the difficult and challenging business environment which they operate under.

They can't until CBN gives them the license to do so and expectedly Nigerian banks will fight against it because their revenue would fall.

Confirmed guy @Sunboy. Just did a transaction with him. I was skeptical initially but just relied on recommendations here. I couldn't believe that I got the alert in less than 3 minutes. Kudos Sunboy. Still got more funds but let you know when I am ready to sell. Regards.
