According to a facebook user, Emeka Macdonald who shared the news on his timeline stats that "Four Gun Down As Troops Storms Awarra and Assa Communities In Ohaji Egbema LGA. Military men from the 34 Field Artillery Brigade Obinze Owerri,in the early hours of today stormed Awarra and Assa communities in the Ohaji Egbema LGA Imo state. The soldiers on arrival at the troubled communities,took over the security of the areas and stationed themselves at strategic positions. The mission of the military men to the area as we gathered,is to maintain peace and order to the communities,restore normalcy and to flush out miscreants and notorious criminals who have been terrorizing the area for a long time now. As i post four young men who have been in the wanted list of the imo state police command,have been gunned down by the military men".
