I've worked on all the FORUM SCRIPTS... -BBPRESS, IS AWESOME, EASY TO CUSTOMISE FOR NEWBIES... -PHPBB IS AWESOME, NOT VERY EASY TO CUSTOMISE FOR NEWBIES. -SMF IS AWESOME, NOT TOO HARD TO CUSTOMISE FOR EXPERTS. -MYBB is just like PHPBB. BBPRESS IS VERY EASY, IN BUILT MOD URL, INBUILT HOMEPAGE LATEST UPDATES...... IN OTHER FORUM, YOU NEED TO INSTALL MODS..... YOU CAN USE ANY FORUM YOU WANT. It depends on various factors just like a boss stated above , what do you really need in the software Are you concerned with its usability Its responsiveness Ease of customization ? etc So it depends on what feature you are more concerned about . Xenforo by far is the best see this - http://ndiafrica.com You can alternatively use Mybb eg - http://techngr.com I you have the capital go for Xenforo, it deserves every penny otherwise go for the free Mybb. Thanks. |

IMO I think Xenforo is the best and most flexible forum script out there with lots of customization plugins. I know a couple popular forums using Xenforo script. You should have asked before paying for a script, I don't see why you'll buy something before asking for people's opinion. 1 Like |
