I thought it was in some parts of Igbo land that twins were killed cos they saw them as bad omen then before Mary Slessor or so, worked on stopping the killing of twins in that region.

Yorubas revered them

There is a historical inaccuracy in this write-up. It is gravely misleading because there was never a time triplet were an abomination in Yorubaland

She was visibly confused. It was an abomination for a woman to give birth to triplets at that time in Yorubaland. One child must be sacrificed to the gods.

I really must commend you for daring to differ.

I was also confused when I read that part of the story since Igbo Ora and by extension the Yorubas have the highest incidence of twin birth in the word.

Mutiple birth have always been celebrated through orikis and sculptures;I have also never heard of any aspect of Yoruba culture that supports the killing of a triplet.

There are some outlying cases of parents who kill one their triplets due to lack of resources to take care of all of them, but this practice is not a part of any known Yoruba tradition.

You and the person you quoted are actually the ignorant ones here.
What was this practice called?
Who abolished it and when?
What facts(credible links, excerpts etc.) do you have to show such a practice existed

Don't bother telling me to ask my elders if you can't make use of consequent reasoning.
