Gradually we're becoming an exporting country.

I am not sure you read the report. Import and export rose because of Naira depreciation period! Not because of volume.

I am optimistic that before the end of Buhari's administration, all the naysayers and the irredeemable pessimists will chew their own statement like Metuh.

A change is not change until there is a change. The pain of change we are experiencing today is a result of our fear to change in yesteryear. Thus, the present pain can not be compare to the future glory ahead of this country.

The current trade position brought the country’s negative trade balance to N196.5 billion during the period under review. This showed a N154.8 billion reduction in the country’s trade deficit over the previous quarter.

This is the best part of the news for me. I sincerely hope the government can intensify the export drive, promote the consumption of made in Nigeria products and pursue the diversification of the economy vigorously so that by the last quarter of the year, we can achieve something very close to a positive trade balance. With a positive trade balance, the Naira will bounce back and the economy will start flying.

Your own is still a little better. Your Garba Shehu, a personal assistant to Buhari is saying this reccession is OVER HEAPPED by many Nigerians. If people like you and the like of Shehu is doubt that nothing is working, you still continue to tell and continue to tell Buhari that things are very rossy when I personally is feelling the heat so much. Then I will better sayTufiakwa to you and God will never allow you to kill every body with this your continued devilish propaganda.

If we exported all these, were we also paid in naira?

Are they saying that we earned over $50bn in 3months and this administration is still shouting that they are broke?

Oga, I love Nigeria and wish her the best but don't get it twisted. Increase in value of export is different from increase in export. The numeric value of export increased due to the devaluation of the Naira.

As much as i want to believe and i pray it happens too, it wouldn't take miracles.

What are the plans we have to ensure the 'future glory'?

This development arose from a rise of N725.6 billion or 63.3 per cent in the value of exports (largely due to exchange rate gains)

The bolded in the quote just shows almost nothing has been done differently.

Did you really read this at all? Look, I will be diplomatic here and will explain somethings to you in the simplest of ways as possible. It takes greater effort to drive in hatred than you need to drive goodwill... I know you are technically defeated this moment, since the news does not discuss recession. If I may ask, What type of youth are you, biko?

Why are we so glued to our phones, developing bird's eyes view to read news that has to do with hardship only? To you, or to other people who are just like you, you need your phones been taken away until you are disciplined enough to contribute meaningfully to the Nation's challenges.

I know you will quote me, but you can do that without crying because I will not answer you. Mind you, I don't support any party. I criticize too, but I look deep before jumping to the floors to stand my view...The youths are the problems of this country! No Nigerian youth has good wisdom to rule us, following the information we read and believe on social networks, the youths are easily influenced! That is an error!

My brother pls leave him alone..........cos even if he reads, the question is does he have the mental capability to understand what is there in? Thats the problem with most of them...... mentally lazy things
