Benin City - The All Progressives Congress (APC) in Edo State has emerged the winner in Saturday's state House of Assembly elections conducted across the 24 constituencies, reports Vanguard.
The party won 21 out of the 24 House of Assembly seats in the Edo State.
APC won the entire Edo North and Edo South senatorial districts.

Y are some ppl so daft The governor gave a fine speech trying not to offend the police or inec @same time. That's wisdom. I pledge my support for apc to lead our states and nation for a very long time. Times are hard but I know deep down it won't last for ever. At least the light system is evident. U and I can tell there's been some progress for some time. That's how it will affect every facet of challenges we are facing now by the special grace of God

the people in Edo are tired of APC. in fact, I've seen people abused or even assaulted in public transport for supporting APC. however, most, if not all, of those complaining emphasize that they will still vote for oshiomole(obaseki). they emphasize that all the visible development in the state was the handiwork of Oshiomole and they won't vote an ineffectual and corrupt PDP just to spite APC(Buhari). they are not willing to go back to experiencing what they did in the previous 8yrs of PDP rule in the state.
However, if a presidential election were held nw, I doubt APC will get 10% of the vote in Edo state.

It z true u understand wat z on ground in edo state..had it bin it z fed .i bet d % will not exceed 5%.. .visibly on wat v bin don by oshomole..every 1 wants continuity. .so i find it laughable wen people who dnt really knw wat z going on here begin 2 criticize n say all sort if words abt pdp winning. .it baffles me..i stay in oredo..ward 4 2 b precise. .i m nt a party fanatic but my statistics shows dat APC will win under free n fair..
