Am sorry o bt are u SURE u are a christain cos lots of threads like this is always from those terrorist disguising as christian and Whatever u like u call ur pastor or alfa,there are better issues to bother you....the bible instruct us to "Look unto Jesus,the author and Finisher of our Faith" If you keep looking at others the way they practise their christianity,you may be diverted...Jesus is Lord!

Did he tell you he was looking at anyone. Issues like this should be addressed calling these people daddy and mummy gives them this thought that they can't be questioned even when they have done something bad. These days i see olde people bend and kneel for their pastors. Married women who don't respect their husbands at home go on their knees at the sight of their pastors. Nigerians have turned these clergies to God and it's giving them the power to ride and oppress their congregation.

If you like start quoting touch not my anointed.. I don't care i'm a fervent christian and i know where i'm going.

Hey ,ThankGod I argued this with ,Iyke my neighbor .I always greet a pastor living in my hood like "Good morning Oga P or Pastor good morning" If he his feeding your family call him Daddy for your pocket.Have never call any pastor Daddy or mummy stuff.

I don't know about Pastors being called daddy and all. What I do know is that, in my culture we refer to elders as Mom and Dad, more especially if they are your parents age and above. Better yet, you can even refer to them as Aunt and Uncle if Dad&Mom are too much

I think Pastor Adeboye started it. Despite being the humblest Pastor in the world.

Sir Seun, Daddy Adeboye as a respected man of God DID NOT tell any one to refer to him as that.. His spiritual children call him that. I personally see nothing wrong in the name.

In Yoruba tradition, we refer to anyone older or able to parent us as ''daddy'' and ''mummy'' so why cant a man of God be referred to as ''daddy'' seeing he is over 70??
