Good day nlanders. Ntel works on my galaxy s4 but no signal bars. Any idea what could be the problem?

from my second screen shot you can see only mobile network is active the rest are something else.

Possible it's masking 3G network as LTE. Hence the data working but voice which is on LTE not working undecided

Same equipment they use for 3G (3.75G) can also be used for 4G LTE which is why the likes of MTN found it easy to launch.

Your Device is only LTE data ready and not VoLTE enabled
try visit ntel.com.ng/vox to download the vox app and see if you will be able to make calls with it.

thanks for the reply but i know that. my issue is why there isn't signal bars rather than a no signal icon
