Sometimes I got pissed off at the way we analyse football here especially when it has to do with Chelsea. We behave as if we have the right not to concede a goal forgetting that even man city has conceded in all their matches this season.
For me, all the players did their job, even matic surprised me. It is not courtios fault that we conceded a penalty. He did all he could do. His only fault is that he is not a fast runner, which you can't blame him for cause he is a goalkeeper.
That we conceded two unfortunate goals doesn't mean that we didn't play well. We sometimes forget that these guys are humans; though they are professionals but they can still make errors and can not always be at hundred percent.
For those blaming our coach, you have forgotten the way we performed last season. Instead of blaming the coach, we should be happy that we have regained our fighting spirit, something that we lost last season. There is a return of the winning mentality. If it was last season, the players would have been happy to have gotten a draw, but it is not the case today.

For Costa, hate him or like him, he is still a goal scorer. I don't know what to make of the guy. He can be foolish at times, but he is a fighter and fight till the end. He never gets satisfied, that is why he will continue to be the number one striker for our manager. You can't just keep him out of the game.

i think conte has shown to be a big game manager. You can ask Spain and Germany. I think he even struggles against smaller teams.

After 4 matches, Conte has 3 wins and one draw (yet to lose) and people here is 'starting to dislike' him. Really? Did you expect 38 wins out of 38 matches from Conte this season?

Costa scored 2 goals yesterday (4 goals in 4 matches so far) and people are calling for Suarez kinda striker....Wow! People are forgetting that no matter how 'annoying' Costa can be, his primary business in the team is to score goals. And he is doing it perfectly so far. How someone will prefer Cannibal Suarez over Annoying Costa is beyond me...

Hazard have won MOTM in all 3 matches so far. Yesterday he wasn't at his best and people have started attacking him. Na wao....Is he perfect? Do you expect 38 MOTMs from him all season?

There is improvement in the team. It's visible for all to see. If it was last season, we would have lost the match 1-2. That's the plain truth. But we saw the fighting spirit in the team yesterday. That's a positive. So instead of criticising the team, let's look at the positives.

Just keep calm and watch Chelsea do great things this season.

Burnthisleaguedown and to some extent Laliga are to blame for this unreasonable expectation from fans. Bayansh Munshiit for the past 5 seasons but once, did not lose 90% of their total 34 league games. The situation is similar in Spain but less deploring.

If this is happening in "major leagues," why won't hensben and chelseafan1 want Conte to win at least 80% of Chelsea's matches this season?

The new craze for ball playing defenders and goalkeepers in the EPL has been troubling and disappointing for me. During this weekends league games, i watched with dismay as teams (Chelsea (admittedly, it was a foul on Cahil), Liverpool ) conceded unwanted goals because their defenders wanted to build from the back, they were either holding on to the ball or seeking to pass the ball behind before going forward.

Man City's Bravo truthfully escaped caution or penalty for the foul on Rooney as he tried to play from the back, i am convinced Saturday's game buttressed the difference between the EPL and La-Liga for Bravo, as strikers would chase the ball and make goalie's uncomfortable. I think only certain teams have the capacity in players and coaching to successfully play from the back. I hope coaches in the EPL realize this is not the La-Liga who have the players and the system to progressively sustain that style of play.

As much as i love a ball playing defender, i prioritize his defending over ball playing skill any day.

....but honestly, Chelsea should blame themselves for not killing off that match in the 1st half. We had plenty opportunities and Swansea were utter crap.

Even when we restored parity, we looked like scoring each time we went on attack. Its a pity poor desicion making and wasteful shootings at the final third let us down.

Though 1point is better than none, but against a Swansea side, plus the fact that our subsequent games will be a journey through the valleys of the shadows of death, it wasn't enough.

Conte knows why he is 'stubbornly' benching Cesc. Do you think he doesn't know the impact Cesc made in those matches yet he continue benching him? You only watch the matches, you don't watch the training sessions. And Conte the style of football he needs from his players. I strongly believe Conte knows what he is doing.

You want Cesc to replace Matic while some fans here wants Cesc to replace Oscar. This shows that even if Cesc starts, there will still be complains. He cannot bench both Matic and Oscar at once, can he? So why not leave the coach to make his selections? If Cesc becomes our super sub for the season, good and fine. As long as we win matches.

I'm looking at the bigger picture here. There is clear improvement in the team. That is what matters most, and Conte is responsible for that. Cut him some slack already.
