That depends on the type NGO by level of organisation and orientation? Some NGO's are in need of logistics managers that know how to move items across states. Some need marketing directors that speak at least two local languages. Some are in for people who know how to train local people as a means of empowerment. And on and on. Most NGO's have departments just like any other enterprises. You can fit in with a skill set match. This is a typical NGO setting: •Founder/executive director •Board member •Staffs •Volunteers/social workers •Consultants/field contractors The list goes on, I can send you a more broad details to your mail if you want. I work with 2 NGO's as a field contractor, I provide empowerment training to people mainly on: •Charcoal and sawdust Briquette making •Clean cook stove making •Household biogas construction •Oven construction and •Educational training on energy sustainability. Since you following this part, I can be of help in growing your organization at a price of your choice but I must warn you from experience that running a successful NGO takes gut and you must control your board members and staff with an iron fist or you may be runned down. I hope you found this helpful. |
