What is your phone model.. check your internal memory.. especially system memory.. check your ram.. and if all is ok.. then go to app in settings.. look for download manager and clear data..

Go to your settings, under app manager, look for Google play store and forcce stop it, clear data..

Then go back to settings and click on storage, click on cached data and clear it...

Open your play store and try the download again. It should work unless there is a problem.

Also, play store install apps on ur phone memory not Sdcard, if ur phone memory is full, do something about it..

Most of the time, it's always due to cache data and low internal storage.
