Good morning fellow Nairalanders I sincerely need ur professional advice please, am about to raise my 2010 Toyota matrix sports because of bad road that has almost destroy the lower bumpers , professionals in the house what is the best way to raise this car with out coursing any problems to the Ballance of the car and not destroying the shock's ,and also be able to return it back to normal in future with out incurring more cost, thanks for your advice in anticipation.

Trade this car in, and get the non sports. That's the safest way.

Listen to the boss above me. Do not raise your car, you will compromise your safety beside there are tolerance level for the bearings and drive shafts. Because a lot of nigerians do it doesn't make it safe. Beside in the event of a tire blowout, you are more at risk compared to an OEM spec car.

Drive slower and caredul while on rough roads. Learn to always drive on rough roads with one tire on the high point, always place the holes in the middle of the car. If its wider than your car, drive with one side in and one side out. That way you use the road contour to raise your car and save yourself a lot of damages

Good advice but the best advice I always tell people is to stay away from the Corolla sport or matrix S or XR. YOU will always find bad roads in naija and the first greeting they give the car is to kiss the side skirt

Op do this at your own discretion. You are liable for any damage that occurs to you or the car.

Buy this tyre size and fix 300/45R30 XW please don't buy any other. XW is for extremely wide. Make sure it follows the tire description if absent, such tyre is fake

Changing(An increase)your rim and tyre recommended specifications might help...but it will also alter the car's stability on top speed.
I did that on a matrix 'I don't/didn't intend to speed with'. It did the magic.
