Hi, please I need an urgent assistance to my window 7 compacq mini ish.

It does not boot and shows the following error:

window could not start because the following file is missing or corrupt: windows root >\system32\hal.dll.please re-insatall a copy of the above file


When I clicked on option F10 as prompted for repair it shows this:

Edit windows boot options for: Window 7

Partition: 1

Hard Disk: 1bfc1bfc

/NOEXECUTE=OPTIN_


Please can I know how serious this is in case I have to take it to a computer engineer. I will appreciate everyone's response.

the OS is corrupt and needs re-installation...call or WhatsApp my digit if you're interested in our services.

From d luk of tinz u have little idea abt reloading o/s,I wil suggest u search 4 it on googleo,coz on google u will see pictures aswell coz it's a lot complicated..If u run into any problem u can leave me a msg.Or beta still take it 2 an engineer.

Thnks a lot. Will be taking it to an engineer. Jxt wanted to be sure of how serious this ish is before taking it to anyone bcus of my xperience wt engineers.
