I have been hearing rumours about itel Mobile releasing a pro version of their popular 5000mAh it1556 smartphone and I just stumbled on this picture.

This is the picture of itel it1516Plus. As you can see, it has a mental body just like an iphone and it is rumored to be a 2GB smartphone and comes with 8MP camera, with 5050mAh battery.

What do you guys think?

From what my sources told me in itel office, the it1516 is a mid range device that offers good specs for your money. The build quality is good with HD screen. The metal back has added a premium feel.

Well, metal body help in dispersing heat generated by the processor and internals which it's plastic counterparts fail to some extent.

My HTC mytouch 4G was 768MB RAM. I used it a very long time ago.

I beg to differ, not for the sake of justifying my it1556 but I'm telling you that d 512 RAM is doing wonders for me (though I optimised it a little to achieve that goal). Reason? I have over 100 apps now (GTA VC included and playing smoothly, though I know it probably can't handle God fire or the likes)

it1516 is 512mb ram but it1516 plus is 1gb ram. Price: N22,000 - N24,000
