this is not a new discovery. my friends in the university did this 15years ago.

it is near impossible. the best you can get at a very expensive cost through pyrolysis is diesels. kerosene is too volatile

As an engineer Noting in science is impossible as far as the is no law going against it

No, alum has no job in this equation, I have left alum in crude for almost a week and gotten no results,
Alum is a coagulant, I.e it destabilises suspended particles to enable sedimentation in water.
I know there is a process to recover petroleum products from plastic waste.
I have that video, but its laborious space consuming involves fractional distillation and the quantity recovered is not worth it.
By the way am into electrical but work in the field. So don't ask me for more explanations.

Even my lecture frowned at it...
Manage to install and show some localé the technique for genaratin' another source of energy through decomposition of animal waste (was usin' cow dungs as of then) in the abscence of oxygen, but i werent makin' much ground coz and some feel like what tha heck am i doin with cow dung and who have time for this shit...
I was fustrated and abandon the project...

You are right, the problem is an attitudinal one. Folks seem to think nothing of "waste " like cow dung. What is needed is attitude change. The slurry is an excellent fertilizer as well not to mention the fact that using biogas reduces one's carbon footprint as well.

What "Basic Chemistry" did you study? Plastic is a petrochemical derivative of crude oil.........and a reversal of the the process will lead to other derivatives, hence Kerosine and Diesel. What learning are children of now adays getting self?

Aluminium is an inorganic Metal while kerosene is organic so Aluminium cannot be produce from plastic.
