The Nigeria Governors Forum (NGF) has urged the Federal Government to declare Nigeria’s economic recession a national emergency. This is contained in a three-point communiqué read by the Chairman of the Forum and Zamfara Governor Abdulaziz Yari in Abuja on Friday. The governors also urged the Federal Government to as a matter of urgency tackle the resurgence in polio and  Lassa fever. The governors had also resolved to support the Federal Government to continue to “reflate” the nation’s economy out of the present crisis. According to the communiqué, the governors have agreed to set up state task forces on polio eradication, with the deputy governors as the heads. The governors also expressed their commitment to the payment of their states’ counterpart funds in order to meet their obligations towards the eradication of polio. I am baffled by the resurgence in polio and Lassa fever at some parts of Northern Nigeria without any complementary effort by the government in eradicating the menace headlong.

Assuming Jonathan was a bad administrator, his Goodluck shielded many of his shortcomings.

On the contrast, no matter how good Buhari's intentions are, he has a very badluck that is highly contagious and worst still, it is transferable and can be transmitted through conduction, convention and radiation at same frequency.

Even the best heads under Buhari's administration are finding it difficult to attend their average let alone their optimum.

One thought the APC's super clueless minister of finance earlier said that "recession" is just a word? Oga Lai also once said & immediately denied he said that "the economy have spin out of Buhari's control"? Guess the reality is more real now right? Band of clueless and empty skulls power-mongers.
