Abeokuta Grammar School, Idi- Aba Abeokuta is the oldest school in Ogun State and the 8th Oldest in Nigeria. It has produced the likes of Prof Wole Soyinka (1st Black Nobel Laureate Prize winner in Literature), Fela Anikulapo Kuti (The Respected Musician and the founder of the afro beat Music), Sen David Dafionne (Ist Black to enter the World Guiness Book of Record for having a family of Chartered Accountants; Him, His wife and 5 children all Chartered Accountants), Mr Tunde Kelani, (Season Film Producer&director) among a host of other well meaning Nigerians.

As we speak, Abeokuta Grammar School, Idi- Aba Abeokuta is the only school in Nigeria that has a magnifient Stadium and an ultra mordern sport facility within its compound.

Yes, he graduated from GCI but he actually attended Abeokuta Grammar School before going to Ibadan.

So ABEO can claim him as well.
