What else do we expect from a man who openly said Abacha was not corrupt?

If Abacha was not corrupt, then no other living or dead ex-president of Nigeria can be described as corrupt.

It grieves my heart that some people (particularly the zombies) still see this man as Mr. Integrity. An adage in my language says ' eni to gbe'po l'aja ko dabi eni to gba sile' i.e. He who steals is less of a thief than he who harbours/covers him up.

Buhari is transparently corrupt to sane and intelligent minds, but to the mumus and zombies, he is their hero even when they are dying of starvation occasioned by the man's ineptitude.
