willian is 100% better than Moses. Moses is not a 1st eleven material. the fact that he has played under 6 coaches and still can't break into 1st eleven is not a joke. Moses is not a consistent player, he doesn't have the mojo of 1st eleven in Chelsea

if willian is better than schurrle ,then schurrle is better than Moses.. Moses is not close to a baller abeg. of all the series of loan he went to he couldn't break into any of there first team. I don't want mediocre starting. The only person that offers more in productivity is Pedro to me.

I don't know why you keep mentioning chalobah, that guy is not even making the bench. it shows clearly that he is not ready..

Reason why Chelsea have not been very creative this season is because Fabregas that has a very good understanding of how hazard plays has not been playing.
The both have a very good partnership. Just like how hazard had with mata

What is wrong with RLC for goodness sake. He has this Carefree attitude. He just isolated Batshuayi up front. He wasn't helping and he never cared. The guy should just be loaned out.

Chalobah on the other hand took his chance tonight. Decent Player.

Luiz na Calamity for Defence o. grin. I was just laughing with the way Vardy and Musa were taking turns on him. grin

Overall, it was a decent performance.

Did hazard play when it was 11 vs 11? I know ajakaja40 will be among the 6 i,diots that liked your comment.

I think i wrote about rlc yesterday. God knows i hate lazy players, he is one of the reasons some dont trust these youths. Chalobah tried, i hope he gradually builds on his confidence and work on his ball handling in tight spaces. I like his hunger for balls. Conte has a lot of work to do on luiz, he needs to understand he is no more in league 1, he looked slow and his poor defensive decisions were evident in the match. i believe conte can drill him, if not make we just dey manage ivanovic like that.

Chalobah did not even display 70% of what he is capable of. I have watched him for years. You see his technique on the ball? You know right away that is one proper footballer. Thank God he came in and had the composure to play, cos what RLC did, made an extremely bad show for the "Play the Youth" campaign.

Give his place to the next in line and send him on loan (It looks like he will never recover from this laziness). And hell, there are loads of them queueing up to take that place. Marios Pasalic/Lewis Baker/Jeremie Boga/Musonda to begin with. Hell even Thorgan Hazard has a buy-back clause.

That attitude is already in his way of making it ever since he signed his million pound contract. The same attitude Islam Feruz take spoil im career after dem give am British passport. Some players will have a bundle of talent but I suppose a Ravel Morrison will always be a Ravel Morrison.

Personally, I didn't think Chalobah did anything special.

He played simple short passes around, didn't really get stuck in with tackles or make any interceptions, and as he mostly played when Leicester were already bunkering after losing a man, he wasn't playing under any pressure from the Leicester midfield.

That being said, he looked really neat and tidy. I'm not sure if that warrants all the hype, but let's see.

Until Costa came on the pitch we looked lost. We didn't know what we were doing. We were unable to open Leicester up and that's why our goals came from shoddy marking at a set piece and a spectacular bit of individual brilliance.

Costa came in and changed the dynamic, but it wasn't until Hazard came on that we were able to finally breakthrough. Whilst Fab got the MOTM award, I personally believe that Hazard was the MVP creating the 2 assists that Fabregas scored, including that Marvelous first one.

No Hazard, No Chelsea....yet again.

We need to wrap that boy up in cotton wool this season. Any injury to him, and we are fücked...

LMAO.

Someone that was reportedly fluttering eyes at Madrid.

I personally would love it if he was playing for a move. At least he would be playing at the top of his game to try and attract a new club.

But the mugu is just playing nonsense and chatting nonsense.

I believe that's where our argument comes from - the unconscious desire for young players to be 'special'. Not every kid from the academy is going to be a Rashford or a Messi on their debut; take the world by storm, make a big announcement and go on to super stardom thereafter.

In reality, 95% of young players are expected to be the "in-betweeners" - right inside the spectrum of special and utter dross. Most of them are expected to come in and just do the basics right. Take your chance, look decent, don't look out of place, don't make stupid mistakes, don't overplay and do not be lazy. Shikena!

With hard work comes consistency. With talent along with the confidence derived from the support, you get set apart from your peers. However, there has to be a system in place that allows you to come in and "do the basics right" in the first place; rather than current expectation of being 'special' out of the blocks.

This in reality means that a handful of spots is kept specifically in the team, for young players. They will be allowed to come in and make mistakes but ensure they learn from it. Some will grab the chance, most wouldn't. Some will dash out straight out of the blocks but most you will have to persist with.

What is certain, is that we will never find out what could be, if that initial chance and persistence is absent. Without this system, we will continue to go round in circles on this topic.

Seeing a natural left back yesterday gave me joy and his performance is also not bad taking away that misplaced pass leading to Okazaki's second goal.

Yesterday's match was the only time our attackers failed to score this season and the first match our defenders and a midfielder finding the back of the net.

Coming from goal behind is not encouraging, hence, something needs to be done to the defence with their incessant silly mistakes.

It depends on which club you're looking at. Is it a coincidence that any player u-23 found in the first team at any of the traditional big clubs these days is either World Class, or shows the potential to be world class? I'm sure there were other forwards/wingers at Barca in Messi's set...how many of them made it in to their first team?

In fact Barca's team is chocka with their academy products who actually had to leave and go and learn the trade elsewhere before coming back. For a team that habours title ambitions like us, any youngster has to either be worldclass or show potential that they can be world class.

Hazard at Chalobah's age was already a league winner, and three time player of the year. You really need to ruminate on that.

This is the mentality at feeder clubs like Ajax and Southampto where the players are being groomed for sale. The manager at Chelsea doesn't even know if he'll still be in the job 6 months from the day he signed a contract, so he is less concerned with the future, and more concerned with the 'right now'. And that is the true reality of life at big clubs. Ain't nobody got time to be nurturing babies who aren't ready...that is why the loan system exists!

The best youth should be integrated, the ones that need more time should go on loan.

These slots do not exist at big clubs. They exist at lower level clubs and feeder clubs. If you can think of a club that consistently challenges for honours and regularly promotes from within in the manner that you've mentioned, please name them. Even Arsenal has severely restricted their youth conveyor belt.

Make that boy pack him load go. I staunchly told niggas supporting his usurpation of Cech that only a foolish team throws away a 32 year old World Class keeper using the excuse of age. Keepers that play till 40 easily.

So true. To break the ranks at a top club, you have got to be a child star. If not you would be sold off or loaned away.

Knowing the basics at this stage is not enough, you must show your manager something different- something he will feel he is lacking.

Peviously Walcott and Owen both at 16, today Bellerin, Iwobi, Rashford, Kelechi at 19-21, etc

I remember when you were telling them about selling Cech for Cortouis. Keepers get better with age, VDS was still delivering into his mid 30's

Neuer is 30now and I am sure he would still be top goalie for 5-6 yrs
