Internet is a global networking that connects billions of computers using internet protocol suite (IP / TCP). However, internet has become a home for business man over some years back. In fact, many organization and private owner owns their business on the internet, just because they know the power of the internet. Billions of computer devices are connected, awaiting latest information about the ongoing businesses. To be frown, farmers find it difficult to understood the power of this tool. I was on chat with one farmer, he ask me on how to market his turkey. I quickly asked him 'Have you showcase them on the internet?' With fast reply, he said No ' How will this EPP?' I was shocked ! Agricultural business is beyond funding and farming. In fact, where the problem and stress lies is the marketing stage. However, advance agricultural business should include internet as one of the marketing tools. Farmers spend most of their time on farm working, monitoring their farm produce. However, neglecting the time that should be spent on the internet. If I should ask you ' When was the last time you logon to the internet?' The average farmers will not even remember his last time on the internet. Here, am not talking about chat— am talking about the time you spend accessing the web for agricultural news, research and marketing.
Agricultural business requires your engagement with the internet. However, on my first time on the internet, when I was connected I don't even know where to surf as a newbie. In fact, the first website advert that I click was my favourite website then...lol
I will explain how you can make use of the internet wisely as a farmer. The internet is global, billions of people are connected with different interest. Hence, this write ups will help farmers on the usage of the internet— to improve their agricultural business.
As a farmer, these are what you need to surf online:

Social media websites such as Facebook, Twitter and Google+ are very powerful as far as internet is concern. As a farmer, you need to be socially connected with your customers online. 4. Join agricultural forum or community
There are many agricultural forum that you can join such as Nairaland— Agricultural section. You can also join agricultural community on Reddit where you can share your idea with many farmers, you can also learn new concept from others.
Farmers need the internet, farmers can also be a celebrity. I love agriculture, I love the farmers.
