Icecomrade:

APC
How far? You ve had 2 weeks extension to do damage control, because you know quite well that you were on course to losing that election.

APC flood the TV and internet with refurbished primary schools and people are cahnting their praise.

Roads like these scattered all over Benin is the reason why Edo citizens are desperately waiting to vote out APC in Edo.

So sad, you postponed the evil days which will surely come.

I hope IARA will still remain with Oshimole when APC losses and public funds is totally cut out of their reach.

Can you mention any State without a road worse than Erediauwa Road? The poster wants attention for his neighbourhood and you twisted it to politics. Mention that State or shut up forever.

LOOOL! This clearly shows that you don't even have a clue of what you're saying and it also confirms my initial statement that your post is politically motivated.

1. I am from Benue State so i don't even care. It's your State, It's your future so wetin concern me.

2. Tony Anenih was minister of works briefly in 1999 and if you were already an adult then, you should have known that there was nothing like Benin bypass by then.As for 40% of bypass in most transiting states, i think they were all done in your dreams.

3. As for Irruah-Uromi road, simple google search will reveal to you that one of the first roads Oshiomole did was the one leading to the ancestral home of Chief Anenih.

If you like, vote for anybody that you like thats fine, but even God almighty will not forgive you if you allow yourself to be used as a tool for propaganda. What have you gained from this? Highest, 2k recharge card.
Why not just apply for YES-grant or something else that will benefit you rather than coming here to hail some and wail about some?

You are ignorant of the layout of the road or u re been mischievous. Have u not seen the on-going construction of Erediawa road from the Sakponda road? Common pls visit sita of the ongoing construction and equally show it to the world.

Which site are you talking about please? I was around upper axis. I know what I am saying. Keke napep does not even get to upper without passengers getting down first for it to navigate. Houses around der have been submerged in water. The erosion in that axis is worst same as the road. And you are here talking about me going to site.

Baba Abagworo wake up please. I've been to other Niger delta states, the roads are way better than what you have in Erediauwa rd, Akwa ibom, Cross river even Bayelsa, there's no excuse for this road being in this kinda condition, in the state capital and for over two yrs now.

Whenever I read comments on nairaland as regarding Edo State, I begin to wonder how uneducated and shortsighted Nigerian youths are. Was it not in this same Edo State your pastor Ize iyamu and lucky Igbinedion ended doing nothing for 8years other than Loot.

God bless you for showing this pictures! Days ago I was discussing this Erediauwa road thing with my cousin! Erediauwa links sapele road from Santana market to sakponba road..... If that road was tarred and dual lane..... It will reduce the heavy traffic along sapele road, especially at kada roundabout! The Roads in Benin city are worse than ever..... Our "one man one vote" once said he won't pay attention to the roads in GRA because people there don't vote..... They only read newspapers and ride big cars... I pray that Edo people align with other south south state and "change the change"...... I miss that city.... Where anything goes!.....

This sound like foolish way to run a state. Why aren't there agencies or ministries to handle these operations. Do our State Senate get paid to sleep. They been to other countries but don't come back with any ideas.

Governors have to much power to mess up the the state. It seems like that if you hear people on this forum talk. If governor sucks your state loses all its progress in one fell swoop.

I took the attached picture about a month ago when there was a very heavy downpour near tom-line, uselu. Something has to be down about the drainage system around the uselu axis.
Furthermore, we also need to change our attitude towards waste disposal. People use up PET bottles and other non-biodegradables and then toss them out the windows of their vehicles and into these drainages unmindful of its environmental impact.

I have gone down this road using a keke-napep its unimaginable, the picture doesn't capture the horror of this road stretching over 100m, at some point it's tarred and ok.
From the discussion I had with fellow commuters I believe the people at Erediawa street are mostly in support of the government and will vote Enmass for APC because it's widely believed APC will complete the bad portion of this road as promised.

I am bringing the bad state of the road to public limelight and to draw government attention through Nairaland and you are here talking about being mischievous or partisan. Did you even read the initial post before the pictures?
Must you be sentimental about everything?

I really don't care about the party to vote for. I am just interested in the road and the benefits that will come if that road is repaired.
We Nigerian youths should stop bringing politics before reasoning in issues.

GRA is a no go area. Even when it rains, the flood there is Terrible.
The GR in it has been removed. It's just A that's left.

You are soooo ignorant of development in Edo state! Though considering you are a Benue man, I am not surprised.
Anenih was works minister from 1999 - 2002. The Benin bypass and Irrua - Uromi road were constructed during this period. They are federal roads. I am from Irrua. Stop saying what you don't know.

The youths of Edo state are only interested in harassing people for development fees which they collect and head to the drinking joints and political thuggery . It pains me that they do not think about what will be beneficial for their future. Charity begins at home. Those youth fees that are collected what is the money used for? some of this money can be collected and used to grade small roads.
