Hello guys I recently got an update on my lenovo laptop that "battery is weak and need to be replaced " after a little search on google I discovered it was a common problem with lenovo laptops , and if I install a firmware it will fix the issue . my question is how do I install the battery firmware. And will it work ..p.s the battery still lasts for some hours .. Its just that I don't receive a notification before it goes off ...

when batteries use up their lifespan even hp brings That notification. once you replace it you won't get such notice again.

P.S yout case might be different. I use lenovo too and battery still lasts 4hours because its new.

for a year and abt two months now .. How much do u think a lenovo battery would cost

if you use the G50 series ,its about 15k others are also within range

yes G50 ... Is it that expensive ? Wow so the battery firmware stuff won't work

I am not sure a firmware update will make your battery last longer

OK will just use it till I get a new battery , since it lasts from 1hr:30 mins to to 2hrs
