One of the reasons why we should embrace one another and stop this hatred game among all tribes. Yesterday, there was a Stay-at-home order as instructed by IPOB.

The government on the order hand demolished a market in Abuja largely populated by the most successful business tribe in Nigeria.

My advice, you can't eat your cake and have it. I'm not against the struggle of BIAFRA because UK exited EU as an exercise of their right and heaven did not fall.

What I am against however is this, you can not be doing business and thriving on all other tribe's soil and still be hoping to actualize the BIAFRA.

My Igbo brothers, I love you guys. Forgive and forget the past. Let's move on and make a better Nigeria. #OneNaija

In this present hardship we are facing, this action will translate to vices; armed robbery, kidnapping, prostitution, etc.

Thrs somthin called 'according a human face to town planning'. You can't just displace people indiscriminately without giving them an alternative or compensation.

I see this as misplacement of priority from the part of the government
They have sent thousands of youth out there without nothing to fall back on.

Once again, omo Yoruba are the first to shout forgive and forget. Meanwhile you people teamed up with the north to decimate and reduce a whole race to a pile of rubble. As if that atrocity was not enough, your father confiscated all the wealth of the igbo man by giving each man a measly £20 no matter how much he had in the bank. You caused many more men and women to commit suicide, as they could not live with the frustration you brought upon them. The same you people voted in this failed leader bereft of ideas for a better nation, and before everyone's eyes he is carrying out a personal vendetta on the igbos in so many ways, one of which was to demolish the market without prior notice nor hope of getting a compensation...
And after all your evils direct and indirect...
You have the mouth to say just forgive and forget.
I am only watching you guys.

And on this thread.. WHAT NONSENSE ARE PEOOLE SAYING. Because things are tough, let the right thing not be done? An eyesore in the middle of the city is demolished and u come here saying recession and human face?

Its this stup.iid mentality that has gotten us here as a country in the first place. If u cannot do what is right, then dnt complain the day the hand of the law catches u.

Op compared Abuja to London... fair... in terms of being capital cities. No proper functioning city allows squatting...and to this extent. When you set up business or a house on land that you don't legally own then at any time you should be prepared to relocate on your own or have your place demolished...without compensation. The human face...is to give you warning. Cities have laws.... if they were consistently enforced thus problem would never arise.

We can not keep dwelling on the past. we have to move on and make the hatred game disappear. I feel your pain though.

Our generation still have the chance to correct a lot of things if we can come together in oneness. I' m not one of the bigots on this forum so I don't take issues personal. I learn from it.

The owner of the land is an oil tycoon and wants to develop the land. He couldn't get the traders out so he used the minister so he doesn't have to pay compensation. Chains

He's the owner, any problem with that?

Did the traders occupy the land lawfully? If yes, they've a case, otherwise, they've no case.
