Day after day I keep asking God why He made me a Nigerian. We are blessed with everything and even with things most nations desire, but time and time again we have chosen the part of destruction.
We have oil in the region yes and it is a known fact Nigeria depends on our oil for its growth mainly. Instead of us bombing pipelines in our regions can't we intelligently ask for the honest development of the region?
This current govt has failed most Nigerians, but instead of blaming themselves they have resorted to shifting blame on the activities of the militants(this might be true to an extent). I have seen four close people who have lost their jobs this season and they are all from the southern part. Why bomb pipelines when there are more sane ways to get our demands met? Politicians are sponsoring this through some not so civilised youths who tomorrow will be granted amnesty, while youths from th same region who went to school and are well behaved will be told NDDC's scholarship is based on quota system reflecting each state or no vacancies despite having the relevant qualifications.
Last time, they threatened to bomb if PEJ was probed. Is she better than my grandma in Ekeremor who barely have access to basic health facilities despite serving fatherland for 35 meritorious years?

These politicians steal our money build hotels and Send their children abroad, while they give peanuts to youths to bomb the same pipeline that made them rich. Let us wise up

There was a truce, and they bombings have started again because the EFCC us on patience jonathans tail. Believe you me, if EFCC drops all the charges against Tompolo and Patience Jonathan, militant activities will stop in the Niger Delta, ordinary banger sef no go blow.

The unofortunate thing is that you people dont seem to see through the wickedness your leaders(militants) are doing to your land. All these talk about resource control and regionalism is just a facade. The reson for the bombings is because of the corruption charges leveled against your elites in the Niger Delta

Abi Akwa Ibom no dey Niger Delta again? Na only Ijaw get Niger Delta?

The other factors you listed are beside the point. The real reason why militant activities are ongoing in the Niger Delta is becauase of the corruption charges leveled against patience jonathan and Tompolo. QED

The argument of Chibuike Amechi was that Delta state is not the only state in the ND. Other state in the ND should also benefit from the presence of Federal institutions/infrastructre in the region.

Furthermore, the deal surrounding the purchase of the land for the proposed University in Okerenkoko was a scam, it is one of the corrupt charges EFCC leveled against tompolo who dubiously sold the land to the former President Jonathan led FG

You also say APC is a scam; it is a shame that you have turned your Niger Delta struggle to a APC and PDP political tussle. Is it the PDP that has zoned thier 2019 presidential ticket to the North that will give you resource control?
