We broke this story to expose the fact that the case was being wrongly handled. We hope you made a stop at the Emir's palace, school security and Divisional police station to get the other versions of his story he dropped everywhere? The good thing is he is on record in all the versions. Records tenable in court. This version is his fourth on record. Currently, even the school security who we have a problem with their protocols has referred the boy to face the school's disciplinary committee. We will be kind to help him document this version of his story for future use. Victim blaming and shaming have been used to shut victims from speaking up for long. This publication is nothing other than that. Further traumatizing the victim so that in frustration, charges will be dropped is what you people are desperately trying to achieve but nice that we did not leave Gwagwalada till past 1.00am and got evidences of all that transpired under our watch, tenable in court for due processes. The Violence Against Persons Prohibition(VAPP) Act is justiceable in Abuja. Asides testing it in this case, we are in current engagement with the school authorities in collaboration with Coalition of Lawyers for Human Rights (CoLaHR) and other organizations to review the institution's response protocols to sexual violations to ensure what exists doesn't further victimize victims. By the way, more reports have reached us by other alleged past victims of Monday Audu. We are in the process of collating and investigating those. Anyone with additional information on the alleged perpetrator is encouraged to reach us. Additionally, those alleging that this style of violations are common in the school and 'nothing usually happens' after they report should please reach us with more information. Our goal is to assess responses to sexual violations reported in the school and recommend amends where necessary to ensure the school is indeed a safe space as should be. Audu (the accused rapist) and Favour Adeola Okorie (the alleged victim) who happens to be an assistant class rep of Agricultural science department (Uniabuja) have been good friends for quite a long time, till this saga led to them, splitting. The Full Story Below:- While speaking to 9jaflaver news man "Mr Ejump" he gathered that, Audu and favour enjoyed good friendship days together for over a month, while school was still on session. Speaking to the both parties, they both admitted that, Audu have been there for “Favour” financially, he claimed to have spent good sums of money on “Favour” kind heartedly due to the fact that he had feelings for her, and intended on dating her, he made his plans known to her, who gave him a condition that will permit them dating. Audu knew quite well that “Favour” was dating his very good male friend, and for his relationship plan with her to be possible, he went up to his friend, who permitted him to carry on with his relationship plan with “Favour” as he was no longer interested in his own relationship with his Ex-Girlfriend “Favour”. Audu went ahead to relate the information with “Favour” who later agreed to date him. In other to enjoy some quality time together, “Favour” arranged to visit “Audu”, after setting a date to meet on the 19th of September. 2016, which was last week Monday, Audu received a called earlier before the arranged date from “Favour”, when he was at a viewing center enjoying a football match on the 18th of September. 2016, which was last week Sunday. Audu, then met “favour” at the door-post of his resident, where “Favour” was waiting for his arrival. Audu showed up, and they both went into his room together, where they both had nice and romantic conversations, and even laughed together. The both parties agreed that “Favour” requested that “Audu” should play, a porn movie with his laptop, as she intended on having sex with “Audu” at that moment. Audu turned down her request because he wasn’t in possession of any at that moment, rather he preferred having sex with her at that moment, until they both started making love together, the love making was so intense, that “Favour” jumped out, and ran away from the room. Audu then became angry, as “Favour” who was down with him on bed decided on short notice to cutoff there fun, so he seized the torch light phone which she left behind, and requested that, she should pay him all the money, which he’s spent on her while they were friends and dating. He later made it known to 9jaflaver news man “Mr Ejump”, that he apologized to “Favour” for requesting that she should pay off all what he’s spent on her. Audu who spoke to 9jaflaver news man “Mr Ejump” made it known, that few hours later, he received several calls from anonymous males, threatening to kill him, and referring to him as a rapist. But O, when a girl accepts money or presents a toaster gives her and proceeds to still not date him, Nigerians end up calling her names and even encourage the man to rape her. But...... if a girl who likes a guy does same and he chops her money and runs a way, or if she gives in to sexual pressure and he chips and clean mouth, people do not ask him why he took from her when he knows he can not date her. Rather they still blame the girl for being stupid and some even say she deserved it, that she has fish brain, she was thinking with her heat. It is clear that the Nigerian mentality never blames the man. It is always the woman's fault.[/quote] |

This story alleges the victim said certain things to the reporter. Full phone conversation which lasted less than a minute would be uploaded on our facebook page so that everyone can properly judge the intent of the reporter. |
