Tiling of the kitchen walls ongoing and will be completed this week. The tile size is 25cm x 40cm and its made in Nigeria by Royal ceramics.

Swimming pool wall tiling has also commenced and we are using ceramic tiles with mosaic designs. Tile size is 30cm x 30cm and its also made in Nigeria.

Back on site on the 28th of June, much has been accomplished and more to be done. We have completed the following finishing work albeit
1. Ceiling installation
2. Doors installation
3. Windows installation
4. Tiles installation for all the ancilliary structures

What we have outstanding is
1. Tiles installation for the marquee,
2. interlocking blocks for the compound
3. Electrical fittings (sockets and switches)
4. Electrical fittings
5. Painting - internal and external
6. Landscaping
7. CCTv installation
8. Power installation ( PHCN and generator backup)

Tiling of the marquee floor has commenced. We are going to fix electrical floor sockets at designated position for ease of use later.

I am back in Ogbomosho, got here on the 18 of July but have been bogged down by work and reports.

Work on the swimming pool deck has commenced, the excavation and blinding of the deck wall has been done already and we will start the blockwork ASAP. Levels have been taken all around to ensure we have the same surface level when we are done with the pool deck.

Pool deck blockwork completed, now to backfill and make surface ready for light concrete casting bed to receive the pool deck tiles.

Marquee floor tiling currently ongoing, the sand/cement bed mixture has to be properly laid and plumb to get a even level all through.

We are done with the stretch of tiling we were working on in the marquee, that's about 40% of the total surface to be done. Work continues next week, this weekend the team is taking a well deserved break.

Swimming pool work has advanced and the construction is almost complete. The pool underwater light have been fixed and the pool engine room installation is also complete.

Rain has been falling almost on a daily basis so the pool is filled with rain water but it will be pumped out once the rain stops finally.

The pool deck backfilling has been completed and we started with the concrete casting today. Due to the size and method of casting used(manual mixing), it will be done over 2 days duration.

The marquee interior tiling is complete and we covered over 2400sq.m of tiles, we are now working on the exterior area, the terrace landing area and the entrance stairs.

Construction on the septic tank and soak-away for the complex is ongoing. We are constructing a total of 3nos septic tank of size 12x12x12ft, 10x10x10ft and 8x8x8ft and 3nos of soak-away of size 6x6x6ft, 6x6x6ft and 5x5x5ft.

Excavation work is done for all but we encountered water seeping from under and the rain falling hasn't helped eithered. We had to buy a pumping machine to make working easier.
