We have seen these type of scenarios before.
Patrick bamford was the best player in the championship 2/3 seasons ago, he scored about 28 goals but when he was loaned to a premiere league club, what happened
Till now he has been unable to push for a starting berth at Burnley..
So its not about shining in league3.
Its about being able to adapt quickly.

Any team will improve when playing with 11 men. With Ivanovic in the team, it's like struggling with an injured player - which is a shame as he's been a great servant to the club. However, he's just far too slow for the Premier League - it makes him look clumsy. Cahill is pushing that way too. Chelsea are not back on track, their offensive play will push weak teams backwards - however, against top teams, they'll get beaten every time until the squad is freshened up with pace and power in defensive areas.

Remember when Baba said Conte wants defensive football. I've seen enough now to not expect any attacking flair during this regime. It's alright beating the Hulls and Leicesters of this world. But it's the Liverpools and Arsenals and their likes that we should contesting with, and that's where Conte's lack of nous becomes apparent.

I'm not Anti Conte in the sense of vociferous rejection. I'm open to be won over. I just don't think it will happen.

I think it's the players that is letting him down. On the drawing board, Conte has a winning team but on the pitch, the players are letting him down big time. Maybe if there will be an overhaul, he will get players who can implement his ideologies on the pitch.

So are you saying that criticising the players publicly is the best way to go about the whole thing? How did Mourinho fare when he publicly criticised this same set of players last season?

Well, I will still give conte the benefit of the doubt. But, still, there is no time. We all know that this is the premier league.
