Battery Problem by Rahym001(op): 4:19pm On Oct 01, 2016

my battery shows the green light, meaning its in good condition, drove it out today to get some house hold items, after shopping decided to drive home and the dash board light did not come on so the car could not start, and the battery still had the green light shinning meaning its still in good condition, had to borrow battery from some one who also cqme for shopping to start my car, and the battery was not as strong as my own, my question is does car battery just die like that.

Green or not cannot be really be used ascertain the true condition of your battery .
Your battery can die easily if you have a faulty charging system or Parasitic drain in your car circuitry.
You need to confirm the above first before u can shift the blame to a bad battery.

The battery I replaced last year still has green light! It is not a measure of battery life.

May b ur ba3 clip is not tight enough so tighten it will or nack a stone on top am

Avoid using chinko battery. You can only use a load tester or multimeter to know the true state of your battery

which one is Chiko battery and how do you know the Chinko battery?

Then check if ur alternator is working fine or may b a current sucking ur ba3 but since u z u drove it down there without any issue am afraid
