Am very sure you've been answered by the gurus in the house.
So far you re still within the 30years bracket age... You have nothing to be worried about.

NYSC will use your WAEC DOB and if different from one submitted by your school, that of WAEC will stand. Once you are doing your reg, the WAEC DOB will appear Automatically and you won't be able to change it unless you buy a Change of DOB scratch card from bank or you what till you reach camp to do so.
But in essence, they will use your WAEC DOB and not the one your school send.

merits-- opportunities after Or during service year..
demerit- high standard of living.. u myt need ur parents to send u allawee

check threads for both states and contact a serving corp member to know about his\her experience. DAT wld be best.
