jln115:You are still trying to complicate thing when you've actually shot yourself on the foot. South Africa have nothing like upgrades on their Gripens. Please just accept that your initial claim was fault cause Mk4 is coming with Gripen E/F in 2017. For now there is nothing like 0.1m2 object detection for gripen. |

iblawi:No you dumb fvck the PS/05a Mk4 is not comeing with the Gripen E......The Gripen E comes with the Selex's ES-05 Raven AESA radar and yes we received the update/upgrade back in 2015 when it was made available, i posted about this 2 years ago!! Thus SAAF Gripens can detect an object 0.4m2 in size from 120km! And as i said before, what does this have to do with South Africa?? You dumb fvcks always want to compare the JF17 to SAAF Gripens yet you don't even have a single JF17! rather compare your Mig21s to our Gripens then! |

tdayof:My fellow countrymen @Patches689 will disagree but personally i feel the F22 is overrated!! In fact most US weapon systems are overrated IMO! |

jln115:You dump fool now know that there is nothing like 0.1m2 detection for gripen you dummy. Am done Hope you will allow me rest now? |
| Re: Technical Discussions On International Military Equipments Doctrines Tactics Etc by tdayof(m): 5:25pm On Oct 02, 2016 |
jln115:Actually I don't know if I should say it's overrated or it's capability is overhyped but currently, no other jet can match it in combat. |

iblawi:Oh my fvcking soul!! the PS/05a Mk4 is already in service with several of Sweden's Gripens......Exports are only scheduled for 2017! Besides 0.4m2 at 120km vs 3m2 at 110km which is better? |

tdayof:When Australia was evaluating the F35 they sent several defence personal to Ex Pacific Vision: in the mock battle there was blue force: F22,F35 and F/A 18 and Red Force:Su27sm and 2 Su30s And if i remember correctly, the beating blue force took was so severe that one of the Australian defence personal describe it as...and i quote "clubbing baby seals" |

| Re: Technical Discussions On International Military Equipments Doctrines Tactics Etc by andrewza: 6:04pm On Oct 02, 2016 |
iblawi:Actually with our support deal with SAAB we get all the upgrades the gripens get as they come out. |
| Re: Technical Discussions On International Military Equipments Doctrines Tactics Etc by andrewza: 6:08pm On Oct 02, 2016 |
jln115:I highly doubt this took place. The F35 was not operational back then and still is not. The F22 only had issues with the Rafael and even then it won over all but a few where lost in simulated dog fights. The Quote came from a computer simulations not a red flag style exercise. |
| Re: Technical Discussions On International Military Equipments Doctrines Tactics Etc by Nobody: 6:18pm On Oct 02, 2016 |
andrewza:Was quoting an accredited Australian news site......as i said there were definitely Australian defence personal at the exercise and that's what they said. But yes you make a good point!! |

jln115:You posted it two years ago while it was available only last year according to your source. You claimed you posted something about upgrades two years ago but SAAB claims upgrades of MK3 was available only in 2015.
